I don't think I would have hesitated to do the same as Gary if my number was called.... I would have run off and joined the Air Force or Navy as quickly as possible most likely. Fortunately for me I never had to make that call....I was classified 1H. That meant that congress would have had to declare war in order for me to be drafted.
