I was just defining progressive in a differnt way than the democrats who expropriated the term for their confiscatory tax policy that doesnt work. I see Mike. I agree that steeply rising tax rates for higher incomes doesn't result in progress. That's why I followed your lead in using quotes around the term progressive. Tim
