bob s, thats obviously ones own decision. Depends on so many personal factors it would be a mistake to try and supply an answer.

Given my own age, available funds, taxes, past experience etc I tend not to cut the profits short. Tend to sell when events not price moves dictate. Realize many brokers, without any consideration of ones personal factors, urge clients to tak some money off the table, and let the remainder ride.
