JCP, All my bulbs are compact fluorescents. I drive a Honda Civic that gets 40+ MPG, but I bicycle around so much I just fill it up every two months. I've added an extra layer of insulation to the attic and upgraded my windows to double pane. How about YOU smartass? I'm doing the compact fluorescent thing as well. My house is modern, so insulation is no problem, unlike the real POS places I've lived in back when I was in college. As for my car, well, you got me beat there, along with the bike. No way I could afford a house within biking distance to work, though. But still everything you've done doesn't even come close to reducing your power consumption by 80%. Maybe it's the other guy who's consuming all that energy. Yeah, that's it. I once took a cell phone picture of an SUV going down a California highway with the license plate "LIBERL" and a "No W" sticker on the rear windshield. Z even had it on his blog for a little while. Maybe that guy could afford to switch to a smaller car and really stick it to Bush and his oil buddies? Tenchusatsu
