I know you will get this, Laz, because I posted it to your PM as well. ______________________________________ The first time I knew about this thread was 30 minutes ago. When I left on Wednesday it was with the request that you do something about Wstera_02's violation of your cease and desist order. I come back to find that you have unfairly punished me and given him a kiss on his big red (neck) ass. These are the facts: SOLON Acknowledged those thread participants who requested a cease and desist. Acknowledged the thread moderator who demanded a cease and desist. Proposed independently and prior to being aware of the foregoing that both he and Wstera_02 cease and desist public display and take it to PM. WSTERA_02 Refused to acknowledge those thread participants who requested a cease and desist. Refused to acknowledge the moderator who demanded a cease and desist. Refused to acknowledge my request that he take the matter to PM. __________________________________________ Wstera_02 spent approximately 3 HOURS throughout the night composing about a dozen posts to me with nearly 70 direct links and many times 70 indirect links (links in the links, as it were). He violated your post of 42722. He did not even acknowledge it. All this, of course, while I was sleeping. When I woke up and saw his violation I did not respond to him. I responded TO YOU to point out his violation and to suggest how it could be dealt with. It is obvious from my post that I knew nothing about your creating a new thread (this one). Obviously I could and would have availed myself in this fashion rather than speak to you there. I was working from the last directive I knew of from you which was to cease and desist. I did so. I did not speak to him but wrote instead to you to point out his violation and to suggest ways to deal with it. In all of this, I had respect for the thread sensibilities and did what I thought was right and good. Wstera_02, on the other hand, simply mooned you and the thread--and dumped 561 pounds of bullshit into the middle of the floor. And he suffered no consequences. Oh well. Who said life was fair? So how did I feel coming back to find out that I've been embarassed on the thread with a banning--and the implication that I am the violator, rather than Wstera_02? I will tell you how I felt: REALLY PISSED OFF AND DISAPPOINTED. OK....Now I see that I am unbanned. Well--thank you for that. I will just stay here for the time being until I have caught up on the thread. Thanks for creating this place. I wish you would have PM'd me about it. I certainly would not have posted to you abour numb nuts over there if I knew this thread was here.
