Pearly, I would imagine that it was the puling, political correct, liberals that have insisted that we can no longer say Merry Christmas. I am disappointed the even Bush's cards said, "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas".

December 25 would not be a holiday if Jesus had not been born, even though He was not born in the month,of what is now called,December. He was born during the period that the Roman's were collecting taxes in Judea, and that was not in December, according to the detailed records required of the Roman Army by the Emperor.
