Warner is seen as replacing Hillary as the centrist candidate who can win some red states in 2008. But other than that it's too early to tell much. One thing about Warner, he's going to be damn hard to smear. Hillary's centrist moves are also a bit too deliberate and therefore seem a bit phony. A lot could happen before 2008. Personally, I'd love if Diebold were fully investigated and it were PROVEN that Kerry was cheated out of the WH. That would be the knock-out blow. Then I believe Kerry would deserve to be president. But yes, Warner looks great, at least on paper.
