Thomas, Jesus had a specific reason to wash the feet of the disciples. I have no reason , or intention, of ever washing a human beings feet. That is unless my wife needs the attention.

So you call an opinion, Catholic or otherwise, proof of anything.

Opinion: A belief or idea held with confidence but not substantiated by direct proof or knowledge.

Neither of us is going to change our opinions, so I'm going to consider the subject dead by truce.
