<I think that Texas Hold Em is often 90% luck and 10% skill. At least in online gambling.>

There is a lot of luck involved, indead.
I was mad (lol) I got outdrawen 5 times in one day, all with premier pocket pairs and big raising before flop - so no limping in. No matter I got AA, KK or QQ I was lossing. Must be bad luck package lol

But there is more than luck - long term. I'm playing now free or cheap tournaments (1$ buy in) just to get handle of it. And I'm noticing some patterns. You are never safe, sure. No matter how good cards you are dealt. But there are systems, looks like. ( I mean beside playing by the book)

One thing, that looks like works is, almost never go all in unless you have the nuts.

Say, you (with goood cards) will win twice and once will get bad beat. You don't want that bad beat cripple you. And it can easy happen with KK or even AA. (at least to me, lol)

I'm trying to play in this spirrit now and I'm now more offten in the top 10% (last few days)

And yes I agree with you about the way low $ games are.

Btw, which playing site you are using/like?
A'm using FTP, like their tournaments, last hand table and red marked proffesionals so you can track them and watch and try to learn something from them. Or at least see, how they are playing. I'm suprised how many times they end at the bottom. (so I'm OK then LOL)

Any other better poker site out there?
Better or more popular?

Mario
