Bushies who draft-dodged were hypocrites. They vocally supported the war, but were too selfish and afraid to risk their hides in it. Delay even said there were plenty of minority guys who could take his place, so why should he go? Clinton and other anti-war activists dodged the war for moral reasons. They felt it was wrong and did not want to be any part of it. Therein lies the difference. Courageous heros like Kerry volunteered for combat even though they had misgivings about the war. That makes Kerry a double hero. Beyond the call of duty. Kerry could have skipped the war, but didn't.
