Hello Don, you said:"Keep in mind that companies DO NOT start major construction projects for no reason. Forget about the cost and start wondering why they need the extra room."

Don, they don't need the extra room. Believe me, NOVL products are not selling....not yet anyway.

The reason they are expanding is to show their clients that NOVL is as stable as ever and that concerns over NOVL's long term surviveability
is not an issue. Many large companies are afraid of investing $$millions in NOVL products for fear the company may not be around long enough. The building is an asset and a non-depreciating one...NOVL has little to lose and much to gain by demonstrating to the world that it is expanding. However, I do not believe they can fool the world too long.
As a matter of fact, many IT people I have spoken to think it is dumb for NOVL to expand at a time when their products are failing.

BORDERMANAGER is NOT going to revive sales in NetWare 4.x and nor is it an incentive to upgrade from NW 3.x. NetWare in any form or shape is "considered" a non-viable applications operating system. That job in the mindset is best left to UNIX and NT. Who is NOVL trying to fool here ? Technology is not the issue here. It is the momentum behind MSFT.

For those investing in NOVL for its JAVA apps., invest in a more secure company....Sun Microsystems.
