The hypocrisy is so obvious that it is staring you in the face.

Repubs have been going on and on about how every Supreme Court justice nominee needs an 'up or down' vote. So, Bush nominates someone who he claims is very qualified. Fine. Let's have an up or down vote on her.

But wait. That rhetoric only applies to candidates that the religious right and conservative neocons approve of. So, instead of an up or down vote, Bush is forced to cave to pressure from the extreme right wing and she withdraws.
