Posted here a year ago so maybe it is time to post again!

The Don Coxe analysis this past week (links on various other threads) seems to indicate that the Chinese/Japanese simultaneous (not joint) support of the dollar may be breaking down. The best analogy of what could happen to the dollar may not be Argentinian (or other fragile currencies) but rather what happened to the British pound as England lost its wonted control of international capital flows.
