The Iraqis taking things over happened overnight, is it not. Right up until Murtha cane out for pullout, the Administration kept saying that they were not going to pull out. They attacked Murtha who said that the generals at the Pentagon were not being listened to. The generals during the Senate hearings clearly indicated that the Iraqis we moving backward as far as taking over their country. gen Abizaid said that they went from 3 trained Iraqi batallions to just one. And then lo and behold, the America lovers who also love to lie changed their story. Woohoo.
