I hear uninformed comments like yours and secession looks like a better option by the day. I have to ask myself: "How can purportedly intelligent people make such judgments when they know so little about the facts?" I guess like body parts, everyone has an opinion and some are simply better than others.
Yours, IMO, is not particularly informed. You have yet to show even the slightest familiarity with the facts. Specifically, you obviously have not kept up with the litany of incredible COE screw ups on levee design, construction, inspection and maintenance, all of which they are required by federal law to do. A real black eye for the engineeering profession.
