The dissenting opinion from the line staffers in the DOJ was not admitted into evidence at the original court hearing on this issue. But since the SC has agreed to hear it, I imagine it will be heard. The decision on this one could be dramatic-either another slapdown of DeLay or license for legislators in every other state to guck with redistricting any time they think they can gain an advantage.
