Ted, thanks for the CNN link. That really doesn't jibe with what I've been seeing. 2,400 ft2 for an average new home? Such a home would go for $800K to $1.2M around here. Hard to believe that the average American is now a virtual millionaire.

That's because you live in S. CA. and you think the whole country is in a bubble. It is not. I tried to tell MacMannis that and guess what.......he disappeared.

Homes have become much larger in the past 30 years. Often times its more for show than needed. Why does Aaron Spelling or Bill Gate have to have a 30-50,000 sq. ft house? Its ridiculous.
