That's about what it was in 1976 too.
My major professor (grad school) was making about $20-25k off a grant.

Reagan left in 1975 and Jerry Brown took over. You blame rises on Reagan...maybe there were other factors?

Tuition now a days is ridiculous. Tons of non-citizens getting in state rates somehow. Whole thing is out of control.
