New Orleans is place run by predominantly black politicians, It was hit by a natural disaster and all kinds of black racist victimization claims came out implying the bigotry of white America. That story was in large part authored by New Orleans officials. It made America look ugly to the world.

I agree. But I don't think it's a good enough reason to kick the other part of NO, the good part, in the teeth.

And the fact that black racists made a lot of noise in no way absolves the COE from its egregious errors.

America I think is now disgusted with New Orleans.

That comment says more about you than about "America." It's absolutely no reason for allowing the COE off the hook.

Since there is a nasty racial undertone to your message, I guess you should be aware that a lot of middle class white neighborhoods got flooded, too. One working class community, white, got completely wiped out. Some very expensive homes owned by whites were totally destroyed.

Katrina was an equal opportunity bitch.

I don't condone black racists any more than I do white ones. You obviously have fixated on a small aspect of things which the media blew up out of proportion. We routinely ignore those crazy folks.
