No. Most major problems are solved by two sides mutually working it out, not one side imposing its will.

There are many things we have done incorrectly in Iraq which will simply breed more dislike of us and our policies. There are a number of simple and inexpensive steps we could have taken to protect against such a poor outcome.

BTW, Bush in his speech today, in acknowledging 30K Iraqis dead (a WAG I assume) has taken one of those steps, although rather late and timidly. To count your own dead, but refuse to count Iraqi deaths sends a very strong message about how you value things.
