Yeah, since it wasn't a powder day for the rest of the mountain, everyone went to Blue Sky. I bailed as soon as I saw the lines, it was skied-out by then anyway. For some reason Vail always gets packed and Beaver Creek will be empty. I mostly ski Beaver for that reason, and there is some excellent terrain at Beaver as well.

Big airs are always fun, especially with nice landings. <g> Got a picture of myself doing one at Mike Weigle's heli skiing operation several years back and everytime I look at it (Had it blow-up to poster-size <g>), I feel that rush of that day. They flew a photographer with us that day, as I too had a buddy who was going nuts off cliffs (front-flips, back-flips, etc) and they wanted to catch him, I just got lucky. <g>
