Get the facts.

The last new vehicle I bought was sold with $250 of profit for the dealer. I knew the cost and was able to negotiate up instead of down. When you do your research, even unscrupulous salespersons are reluctant to try to BS you.

Check both major blue books. Refuse to pay more. How about buying froma senior citizen you know? My new car was a resident at an Independent Living center.
