You don't have to search too far to find Christian folk who will tell you point blank that "tax cuts for the rich" are immoral - based on their interpretation of the Gospel.

I don't hear that. I don't think it's that direct. As I said, one's religion informs one's politics just as it informs everything else. But it's indirect. It goes through a secular filter first. Not that it isn't direct for some, which is why I said "generally." But you don't hear much about Liberation Theology in US politics. That's mostly a third world thing, I think.

But what do I know about Christians? I'm an outsider looking on.
