This guy makes good arguments, but I don't think anyone knows what happens when (if ever) we leave Iraq.

I'll tell you.........what he says makes perfectly good sense to me. It sounds like an insider with good instincts speaking. Iraq is going to be a mess for a long time........there is a lot of internal dysfunction that needs to be worked out. Its going to be messy. Why lose more Americans over it?

It as chaotic as the weather, and one decision by one element can lead to other actions which can lead to other actions...

That's right.

I've often wondered what happens when the Kurds make their break. I think its inevitable. And I know the rest of Iraq will not let them going quietly into the nite.......not with a 1/3 of the oil. Its going to be real mess.
