The guy in the article seem to soft peddle the problems. And he may be right. Who knows? We've set loose a confluence of multiple ethnic, religious and economic interests, multiplied by the neighboring countries trying to gain political advantage (Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Turkey). A huge struggle for power over the world's second biggest holder of the world's most precious commodity. Add in the western self-interest from various countries (Israel, US, Russia, France, Germany...) and the terrorist game plan... Only Allah could make a prediction.
Nobody can game plan the scenarios... just too many players inside and outside Iraq, and SO MUCH at stake. It's like the Super Bowl with all 30 teams on the field at the same time, all the teams snapping the ball at the same time... and no rules. Somebody is going to win, but even in the end, however many generations it takes, nobody will have predicted the "process".
