So now the rightwing cares about the UN, huh? You only do when you need to, otherwise you diss the UN, call them crooks and call for it to be disbanded. What hypocrites. Israel has also broken dozens of resolutions. Why doesn't Bush invade Israel? Saddam, though a creep and a menace, never attacked us, wasn't planning to attack us and had nothing much to attack us with. He simply needed to be frisked, disarmed (if he had any arms) and then put in a box to be disposed of later while we concentrated on fighting terrorism. Instead, Bush lied and rushed in. You simply cannot make Bush-Cheney's lies go away. Everyone knows they told them, and that it was intentional. If they had planned the war really carefully and won it quickly, then got out, that would be one thing, but their lies were compounded by the worst planning and policy blunders since LBJ in Vietnam, as well as a lot of thievery and corruption. So no forgiveness and no mercy. All corrupt and inept leaders must be held accountable in this country. That's what keeps our democracy strong.
