As with most of the ancient heresies that the enemy of God alan w spews, the doctrine of the reconciliation of all things was espoused and made famous by Origen almost 18 centuries ago. It is a very ancient heresy.

Origen's false teachings were condemned at the Fifth Ecumenical Synod, 553 a.d., which was attended by 165 Orthodox bishops.
