I support the UN, though no country dictates to the US. We must work with the world and be a benevolent paternal figure, but never a bully and never a lapdog. We should be secure with our power and not need to do stupid things like insult France, Germany, Russia and the UN. In 1998, CLinton's people were wrong about Saddam's WMD, but to be sure they bombed the hell out of the site. They did not try to invade Iraq and occupy that country without a plan. In 2003, Bush-Cheney had no excuses to be relying on intel from 5-10 years ago, nor to fabricate any of the claims they did while covering up other more credible claims. Nor to invade and occupy the country without a plan. Bushies lied, 2100+ US troops died and it's time to hold the liars accountable.
