The way I understand Dr. Johnson process is it is more of a mechanical than a chemical system. The dirt is ground down to a thousand mash which is over twice the norm. Than it can be sorted into smaller amounts for final processing. The way it was explained to me you could fill a dump truck and dump it through the process and come up with just the necessary dirt for final processing. And cut the cost of your chemicals by two thirds. Thus giving us a much more efficient process.
