Yes, you did. You are repeating your self but you are not answering the simple question.

What treatment do you propose for the heinous criminal that resolves the crime and reconciles the criminal with the individuals of our society and with society at large.

The justice system is not charged with changing the past but you can keep repeating that irrelevant comment if you like it a whole lot.

The justice system is charged with resolving unjust acts that rise to the criminal level. They are charged to do so in the here and now, and going forward.
