Your buddies would be in that half that makes less than 32k a year. Since that would be around 95 million people ....they have a lot of company! Well that is my point, there are A LOT of people that cannot afford college and the better life and such - 95 MILLION - that is a TREMENDOUS number of souls. Many of those have no hope of EVER making anything CLOSE to 32k - and that is BEFORE this big gloom and doom crash so many are predicting - how they have held it together this long while watching paris hilton on TV barf up a twinkie they would probably kill for is amazing - soon Grace - probably some of these folks are going to come apart - it will be ugly - say just 10% get fed up - that is 9.5 million people - that is like a major world metropolis of people no? Pissed off, broke, hungry, angry, without any HOPE of getting to that 32K a year. Perhaps we will get to experience first hand those many thousands of riots that china gets to enjoy every year. (sigh) One of my redneck buddies said he always voted democrat because they keep the poor destitute folks somewhat appeased and keep society from collapsing, so I asked him why did he vote bush/republican this last election - he said he really believed bush would take care of the little guy over rich city slicker kerry - he sent me a cap that said red states this last election - what a silly guy - now with all the new laws and such - he wrote me that he really regrets voting red - that he cant believe he thought a republican would take care of the little guy. He is fuming mad, cant afford the medicine for his mother, and after 3 bankruptcies wont be able to do a 4th it seems - his fuse gets shorter and shorter by the month.
