Mq- Nice discussion of how in the old days you could sit down and have a chat with someone claiming to have a bomb. Claiming you have a bomb today while in an airplane you have a high risk of getting "whacked" as Tony Soprano might say. New methods of assembling bombs on board and the use of plastics complicate the issue to the point that there is almost zero tolerance. Do you think the passengers on board with Richard Reid should have tried to reason(chat) with him? RB
