Hard to imagine, the Lebanese people here seem so nice! Yes, they are. I've always been impressed with the posture of the local Lebanese community. Different waves of emigration, perhaps, as it is with the Cubans in the US. Or different treatment by the US vs. Australia. Or just different times. Or different religions. Most Lebanese here are Christian, I think. Or maybe it's just proximity to the beach. <g> Another news source I like to follow is Wikinews. I have good news sources on the web. What I really miss is one on TV. I can't stand any of it anymore. I would be happy to have back the old CNN Headline News. At least there was a sampling of news in it.
