Breaux is a very savvy guy, wish we had him around instead of his replacement. Bush appointed the task force in order to get bipartisan support for whatever tax program he's going to propose. I suspect the growing budget deficit has something to do with the panel's recommendations. I haven't seen the details of the task force's recommendations but you seem to have a grip on them. Can you lead me to a place where they are listed?
