I'm still playing low-limit games but I have gotten a lot better at poker the past few months, online poker has been a great tutorial. I would say I've gone from being "below average but enthusiastic" to "a bit above average," which ain't bad.

Unfortunately it doesn't translate into my regular real life game cause I don't have one anymore, the only ones I get invited to are illegal hold 'em tournaments where I know maybe one person in a crowd of twenty and everybody has more money than me. My last regular game was also at times illegal (can't have bar wenches serving you drinks in the back room of a bar in Florida), but at least we all knew each other.

If I am going to play in a crowd of strangers I prefer the net, at least I don't have as many tells online.
