Clarence,

There are a great deal of companies who use the VSE as a venture capital market to raise capital to develop their business to a point where they meet the requirements for a listing on a major exchange. A good example of this would be Turbodyne Technologies TRBDF. Four years ago they were trading at the $.50 level to raise capital to develop their product and market. They delisted from the VSE this year and are currently trading on the NASDAQ-Small Cap at around $5.50.
Like any venture capital market (including the OTC:BB) there are good companies and bad. What you should ask yourself as an investor is are you buying a good product which has market appeal, is affordable and profitable.

Best regards,

Robert (Auboy).
