Well, I finally broke down and got an HDTV. After what seemed like several hours of assembly, I viewed my first High Def "Dave". The first thing I saw was a detailed view of a gash on his hand along with several stitches. It was pretty impressive. There's also an HDTV broadcast of an old Drew Carey featuring "Mimi" on UPN. When Craig Ferguson comes on, Dave's HDTV channel suddenly puts out a two inch border on each side. Sometimes the HDTV channels have borders, and sometimes not. Maybe I'm doing something wrong to get borders. I can only get NBC on the regular channel. NBC needs to upgrade their HDTV signal, or Conan's history!
