<Taxes are in essence a symptom that we spend too much> Every bill that comes to you in the mail is a symptom that you spent money and now must pay up. You can borrow the money or you can pay the bill. Those are your only two choices. Nationally, we choose to borrow the money. The alternative is to pay the bill through our taxes -- but not me man, not so long as I can pass the bill on to my kids. We can say "screw the next generation", because I am not going to pay my bills. Now 'there' is an attitude to be proud of -- NOT. Every time you advocate not paying enough in taxes to cover our bills you are screwing somebody else -- and ultimately you are screwing yourself. Should we cut spending? If you say so. But we have not cut spending one bit, yet we have immoral idiots running around acting like they are doing gods work by destroying the finances of this country.
