If you are not openly and strongly anti-war, then :
(a) you are pro-war, or
(b) you don't have a clue, or
(c) you do have a clue, but are too afraid to state your opinion.

If it is (a), you won't get elected because there is already a bigger warmonger in charge. No point in electing a Warmonger Lite when you are so strongly for waging wars.

If it is (b), then you won't get elected, because there is already a totally clueless person in charge. You can't possibly be more clueless than that, even if you tried! :-)

If it is (c), then you don't get elected, because you will get run over by the warmongers anyway.
