<What I do isn't a bluff, it's a semi bluff. I may have a middle pair, a four flush or a four straight on the flop, so I do have room to improve if somebody catches me with my hand in the cookie jar. If I am last to act and everyone checks to me, I will bet the pot. I am representing that I have top pair or better. I usually do that with one to three other players. With more than three, somebody will call, so I don't do it.>

I see, you are basically playing continuing bet. I'm trying this too. Usually I'm lucky enough to try when someone have a monster lol

<I win 4 out of 5 times with the semi bluff>

That's great percentage!!! Wau! I wonder how you do it lol

Theory: if you bet the pot, you have to win only once out of two tries to break even. If you bet half of the pot then you need to win only once in three tries to break even... if I remember correct. But you are winning 80%!

I'm usually betting somewhere around 2/3 of the pot. Say, smaller pot, I bet the pot, bigger pot I bet less, say half... Also depence of my cards...

But my timing is horrible. I have this instinct, to make a move always toward someone's monster. Can't bluff much with this 'gift' lol

And yes I'm learning that is better to use less time All_In. So what if someone is bluffing. I'm still in the game if I fold. I feel more comfortable if I'm All_In when I decide to go All_In then if someone else decide.

On average of course. There are exceptions LOL
