Surely there is some correlation between environmentalists and collectivists, but to assert that collectivism is driving environmentalism seems off to me, not up to Will's usual standards. I have no clue where he would get uch an idea. I know a LOT of environmentalists, spent fifteen years in their mecca, but I never heard of such a thing as he suggests.
