I agree. My only thought was in the context that anyone can say anything they want to on this site, and they do. The posts that are really illuminating are those which supply credible data to back up thieir postion. This is not to say that opinions are not welcome--the totality of opinions represent the psychology of investor sentiment on this subject, but the credible data posts go well beyond simple theories. They are to be encouraged. I believe that some of the posts here are attempts only to hype the stock by existing position holders. There are usually pretty obvious, but after a while can interfere with the true psychological state of the more stalwart members of the group at large. Group psychology, I believe plays the major role in short term movements of the stock market. Longer term movements are linked to valuations of the company versus the market in general. Short term abberations on the basis of group psychology can at times be extreme.

How's that for supplying a theory without any supporting numbers. I have now violated the tenets of this very post.
