Since taking office in 2001, the record of the Bush administration has been exemplary, and the domestic enemy-as you can tell from its own shrillness-is backed to the wall.
Like any administration, though, they have made some mistakes, but with the retirement of the idiot Colin Powell, they have dealt successfully with most of those.
The one large, glaring ERROR that can't be traced to bad advice from Powell-and which stands TOTALLY with George Bush-is his support of the disaster of the McCain Campaign Finance "Reform" bill.
Today, Bush committed his SECOND grave error in the same area, by backing the McCain "Torture" bill, better described as the "Al Quaeda Bill of Rights". This is far worse than the Boland amendment that Reagan should have vetoed, this is partial surrender to the world's terrorists.
The Republican rank and file will dismiss McCain out-of-hand in any set of primaries in 2008. And it's doubtful this blank-eyed cow will even choose to run. But TODAY, it's critical for the ADMINISTRATION to consistently tell him to shove his drivel up his ass. Otherwise, it will negatively impact Bush's UNREVISED legacy... |
