You are mistaken because you have bought into the liberal claptrap that owning guns needs to be justified. It does not. It is a Right granted by our Constitution, much to your dislike I am certain.

If you do not proscribe to the NRA that is fine, but you should join it's ranks and see what good it does. How many police officers and public people it trains. How many sporting events is sponsors. How effective it is at preserving a Constitutional Right.

I enjoy my semi autos quite a bit but I only shoot my revolver in basement. I use plastic bullets and primers in a plastic case. They are made by speer and quite fun to shoot. A small pop and a whiff of chemicals. The plastic bullet goes through about 10 layers of cardboard at 7 yds. My kids enjoy shooting in this method also.
