Something I find odd about delinquencies. I thought well let me look at some ground zero locals for speculation and froth of late. I just checked public records of several counties in Florida along with San Diego county and new foreclosure filings are still very low and at a fraction of where they were in the 1988-1993 period when the population base was much smaller. Now perhaps lenders are slow to pull the trigger on filing these days? A case of some accounting magic or perhaps they delay reserves for loss increases into the new year?
