"Without information there can be no cause and effect"

If a wind was blowing strongly and a large tree in the center of the forest fell down and there was NO PERSON there to observe either the srong wind or the falling tree or the fallen tree, then there was no cause, and no effect.

Yeah, sure.

In fact it didn't even occur in the minds of people AT ALL.

And thus from the human standpoint NOTHING HAPPENED.

But you tell that to the squirrels that used to nest in it, and the skunk that had a hole under it and the fox that was almost trapped by the falling tree.

But we don't have access to THEIR minds, do we?

There are a number of animal psychics who will tell you otherwise.

But No human data in a form intelligible to the SCIENTIFIC observer means nothing to record, measure, talk about, pontificate about.

What kind of insular mental masturbation is that?

Or is it just an admission that "we have some tools that are good for some things but aren't worth a damn for anything else......"?

Namaste!
