I think we were all shocked but it was verified not only in the local press there but a phone call to the police dept. Something snapped in his mind probably as a result of the built up tensions about family and health issues. I do not think money was a reason (even though thats what holdups usually mean) though one will never really know. Tim really looked up to his father who had passed away. His mother was in poor health. Tim had some health issues of his own apparently and maybe something lingered in his mind from his visit and first hand account at Ground Zero in NYC where he volunteered. Jane
