BJ, I don't know where you are from, but have obviously not been around those of the welfare army. Why is it, some dude, with gold adorning his body, can drive a brand new car, or SUV, with $4,000 dollar rims, and a $2,000 boom-boom stereo in it and not work a lick? They have come to know every trick, and loophole in the book and how to misuse the welfare program. That is stealing the money from honest tax payers, by those that don't pay a red cent for taxes.
When Jesus walked the earth, those that were poor, and homeless, did not have any governmental assistance, so the need was genuine. It is no longer genuine.
I don't want to cut the welfare system, I want to abolish it. As our ancestors rode in wagons across this nation, nobody helped them out with government money. If they got sick, or wounded, they had to deal with it by themselves, and could not go whining to some politician for help. I could go on, and on, about that subject, but you are too hard headed for it to sink in anyway. |
