According to the company's profile on the Pink Sheets website, FLMP has 18,543,474 shares outstanding and 500 shareholders. Based on Thursday's closing price of $.57 per share, the company has a valuation of approximately $10.6 million. According to an early press release, the company was incorporated in 1992 and engaged in R&D activities from 1992 to 1998. If I am not mistaken, the market for fire retardant and extinguishing additives approximates $2 billion globally, $1 billion domestically. The big players are Great Lakes Chemical, Albermarle, and an Israeli firm named Dead Sea. There are a number of other entities that have non-toxic, environmentally friendly additives. These include: Firex, Inc., though I am not convinced that they are actually selling product... firexinc.com ...and Passive Fire Protection Partners, which recently changed its name from Fire Stop. firestop.com
