McFarland Carbon Monoxide Death McFarland Carbon Monoxide Death Updated: 6:22 AM Dec 16, 2005 One person is dead and three others in the hospital after suffering Carbon Monoxide poisoning. The scene in McFarland developed Thursday morning, when 26-year-old Cory Nonn of Middleton was reported missing after he didn't come home last night. He had last been working as a contractor at a house in the village of McFarland. Police went to the house on Osborn Drive Thursday morning and found the family that lived there, a 57-year-old man, 56-year-old woman and 18-year-old man, overcome by carbon monoxide. According to police, they were unconscious but breathing and were taken to local hospitals. In the basement, they found Cory Nonn who had been doing a drywall job at the house. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the death probably happened sometime last night or early this morning. There was no ventilation in the basement and it does look to be an accident. It's unclear exactly how long the victims had been exposed to the gas, but a fire official say the levels of carbon monoxide they found in the house were very high and all victims were likely unconscious with-in a half hour.
